A full day tour to visit two wineries at the Lisbon wine region (out of the beaten path), explore the vineyards, learn about wine making process and at the end of the visit taste 10 wines. In between the wineries we are having a delightful lunch at a an authentic portuguese restaurant. Along the way we are passing by the UNESCO World Heritage Mafra National Palace.

Between the two margins of Lisbon we will visit Principe Real, Bairro Alto, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Belém, Christ the king statue, Cacilhas, Graça, Mouraria and Alfama. It seems to much but trust us, you will ask for more mysteries to unveil in the city.

Boat and kayak at Berlenga Natural Reserve

Come along with us in this adventure, we are going to explore the Island of Berlengas, a natural reserve at the doors of Lisbon. This tour includes boat ride to the Island, a walking tour along Berlenga Grande and visiting the caves by Kayak or glass bottom boat. Before returning to mainland it’s time to relax at the beach with a picnic. Before returning to Lisbon we can’t miss Baleal beach and the astonishing views along the coastline of Peniche.

Making bread in a windmill with typical portuguese lunch

Visit to a hidden gem that even most people from Lisbon don’t know about, Serra de Montejunto Protected Landscape. The windmill will be available just for us and a nice typical portuguese lunch is waiting for us at the end.

Budha Eden, Foz do Arelho and Óbidos

Enjoy a visit to the imposing oriental gardens of Budha Eden, the largest oriental garden in Europe, with a visit to Quinta da Bacalhôa wine shop. Then we offer you a delicious lunch in the typical equestrian restaurant Solar dos Amigos where you can taste the best delicacies of the region. After passing through the bay of São Martinho do Porto, Foz do Arelho beach and Lagoa de Óbidos, through Atlantic roads with breathtaking views, the visit culminates in the typical village of Óbidos, the most beautiful and best preserved medieval town in Portugal. Taste the inevitable ginjinha – a delicious cherry liquor

Tapada and Palácio de Mafra

A visit to Tapada de Mafra including a train ride through the park appreciating its fauna and flora, wild boars, deer and fallow deer that live there freely. At the end of the visit watch a birds of prey show (eagles, owls and snitches, among others). Lunch at João da Vila Velha restaurant, a special restaurant in the region of Mafra. After lunch there is a guided visit to the sumptuous Palace of Mafra, one of the most beautiful and grandiose of Portugal.

Visit to West Region beaches

Beginning the tour at the Pottery House/Museum of José Franco where you can admire a living museum, with the main crafts that were practiced in Portugal in the early 20th century. The tour starts in Ericeira, including Praia de Ribeira d’Ilhas and Praia dos Pescadores (Fisherman’s Beach). We head south to Azenhas do Mar, Aguda, Maçãs, Grande and Adraga beaches. Stop for lunch in a typical winery, then drive to Cabo da Roca (most western point in Europe), where we can take a short trek over the cliffs overlooking the sea or alternatively continue towards the charming city of Cascais and visit its typical points.

Santuário de Fátima, Mosteiro da Batalha, Alcobaça and Nazaré

Visit the Sanctuary of Fatima, one of the most important religious icons in Europe. Afterwards driving west towards Batalha with a visit to the magnificent Monastery of Batalha, a hymn to the Gothic construction and heritage of Unesco. Stop for lunch in Batalha in a typical restaurant and visit the Monastery of Alcobaça, an imposing building with more than 900 years, also Unesco inheritance. To broaden your horizons, visit the city of Nazaré, internationally recognized by giant waves (20-30 meters) in Praia do Norte and most well known for the world famous surfer Garret McNamara.

Magical Sintra - Pena and Regaleira

Arrival in Sintra and stop at Piriquita to taste the world-famous travesseiros of Sintra, followed by a visit to Quinta da Regaleira and all its mystery and mysticism. After the visit to Regaleira, towards west, visit Praias (beaches) Grande and Adraga with lunch at a typical regional wine cellar. After lunch, return to Sintra to visit Pena Palace, one of the most beautiful and exquisite buildings in the country, with breathtaking views and its splendid gardens.
