What to Expect? (+) Pick up at your accommodation and start the journey towards the magnificent Monsaraz Castle, one of the most beautiful and well preserved Castle in Portugal and still out of the beaten path for mass tourism. Besides of the beautiful castle and cozy shops in it, the breathtaking views around it are just stunning, with the green and yellow of the Alentejo fields contrasting with the deep blue of the “big lake”, called Alqueva. Return to Évora and lunch at a typical restaurant, the Alentejo gastronomy is one of the most popular in the country, and no tour in Alentejo is complete without a kind of lunch to eat and cry for more… After lunch we visit the Unesco heritage city of Évora, we start the tour with the Roman temple, the Cathedral, 5 of October commercial street, Giraldo Square and São Francisco Church. We also visit the interior of the bones chapel, a very peculiar and unique monument form the 17th century, where we can appreciate a chapel fully covered with bones, it is an experience that you will not forget. After this visit, we hop on the car and return to Lisbon. Overview (-)
